The Sri Lanka Cricket Selection Committee has announced a 14-member squad for the second Test against India, which will get underway on 23rd August at the SSC Grounds in Colombo.
Opening batter Nishan Madushka has been left out of the squad after failing to make a significant contribution in the first Test in Galle. Madushka scored just 0 and 6 across the two innings.
In-form opening batter Kamil Mishara has been drafted into the squad as his replacement, earning a recall after a strong run of form.

Off-spinning all-rounder Sahan Arachchige has also earned a call-up to the Test squad, replacing the injured Dinesh Chandimal.
Meanwhile, off-spinner Ramesh Mendis and left-arm seamer Dilshan Madushanka, who were part of the squad for the opening Test, have been omitted from the 14-member squad for the Colombo Test.
