In its endeavour to give all the second-string players a platform to showcase themselves, Sri Lanka Cricket announced a different squad for the 2nd 4-day match against the visiting West Indies ‘A” to be played at the Uyanwatte Stadium Matara commencing 18th October 2014
Sri Lanka caps Kithruwan Vithanage and Nuwan Pradeep have been given a run while Malinga Pushpakumara, and Nisala Tharaka and P A D L R Sadakan have been included in the side in place of Lahiru Thrimanna, Seekuge Prassana, Dinesh Chandimal, Shaminda Eranga and Lahiru Gamage who played the 1st match in Hambantota which Sri Lanka won by 10 wickets.
