Ragama vs Chilaw Marians 

Ragama CC came from behind to complete a stunning outright win over Chilaw Marians at the Moors ground in Colombo. 

Ragama CC raced to 352/6 declared in just 70 overs in their second innings, as that left the Marians needing 289 runs for an outright win. 

They could muster only 205 handing Ragama CC an 83-run win, as Amila Aponso and Nishan Peiris captured 9 wickets apiece in the match.

CCC vs Moors SC 

Moors SC were bowled out for 405 as CCC stayed unbeaten in group A, while also securing their spot in the super eights. 

The Moors batsmen fought hard throughout the day, but it wasn’t enough as they fell short by 142 runs on first innings. Malinda Pushpakumara was the Chief wrecker for CCC with another five-wicket haul.

Baduraliya vs Saracens 

Centuries from Pramod Maduwantha and Gamindu Kanishka ensured Saracens SC recorded a convincing first innings win over Baduraliya SC. 

They declared on 496/6 after Baduraliya posted 365 all-out earlier in the game. 

Kanishka was the star of the game as he captured four first-innings wickets to go along with his century.

NCC vs Tamil Union 

NCC racked up a massive 402/8 when the game was called off in their second innings, but the damage was done in the first innings as Manoj Sarathchandra’s century led Tamil Union to a shock win over NCC. 

Pathum Nissanka was the star of day three with a scintillating century, while Angelo Perera was unfortunately dismissed on 99. 

Tamil Union went on to make 446 all-out earlier in the day in reply to NCC 339 in the first innings.

SSC vs Army SC 

The soldiers held firm to make sure they took first-innings points in their game against SSC.

SSC were bowled for 226 early on day three, setting up Army SC 182 for an outright victory. The soldiers almost crumbled but managed to hold on as they ended the day on 125/8. 

Sachithra Senanayake captures nine wickets in the match for SSC.
