Lahiru Udara scored his 12th first-class century on Day 3 in the second unofficial Test of the two-match series between Sri Lanka ‘A’ and South Africa ‘A’ played at Benoni.
Resuming from their overnight score of 134 for 2, Sri Lanka ‘A’ posted 319 runs for their first innings on the back of a brilliant century from Lahiru Udara and a fine half century from Pasindu Sooriyabandara. This was in reply to the South Africa ‘A’ first innings score of 334 runs.

Udara struck 129 runs off 192 balls with 16 fours and a six while Sooriyabandara hit 92 runs off 166 balls with 9 fours and a six.
Prenelan Subrayen was South Africa’s pick of the bowlers as he grabbed 6 wickets for 64 runs.

The hosts began their second innings 15 runs ahead and posted 112 runs for 3 wickets at the close of play on Day 3.
