SLC Assistant Manager – Tournaments & Statistician, Chintaka Jayanath confirmed the move with ThePapare.com.

The matches that were scheduled for the 1st week will now be played at the end of the round-robin stage and the previous schedule of matches from week two will continue.

Due to rain, we were not able to train outdoors for the last couple of days and the ground staff is also unable to prepare the pitches. I think it’s a good move to postpone the tournament by a week.” One of the team captains said exclusively to ThePapare.com on the condition of anonymity.
