Though the second innings wasn’t the greatest from Chilaw Marians, the 121 runs they made looked good enough as they managed to put Saracens under a great deal of trouble picking up 7 wickets for 95 runs. Ashen Bandara’s stubborn 48 saved the game for Saracens. Raveen Gunawardena picked up 3 wickets for 29 runs for his merits.

The game between Air Force SC and Kalutara Town club got underway at Air Force grounds Katunayake. KTC were inserted to bat first by the Airmen and were soon taken down for 99 runs. School-leaver Teron Baskeran remained unbeaten on 41 runs while Nuski Ahamed tasted 4 wickets to top the bowling chart.
