Royal College, Colombo (A) will meet St. Peter’s College, Bambalapitiya (A) in the final of the Under 13 Division 1 Inter Schools Cricket Tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association with sponsor Sri Lanka Cricket on Sunday (15) at Ananda Mawatha.
78 teams participated in this tournament and they played in league basis into 11 groups. The finalist Royal College advanced to the second round as runner up of their group in the first round while the other finalist St. Peter’s College advanced to the second round as champion of their group in the first round.
Royal College defeated Ananda College while St. Peter’s College defeated St. Sebastian’s College, Moratuwa in the second round. In the 2nd round, Royal College beat Mahinda College whereas St. Peter’s College beat Isipathana College to book their place in the quarter finals.

Royal College qualified to the semi final defeating Dharmapala College, Pannipitiya. The quarter final encounter between St. Peter’s College and Trinity College was tied and bonus points were also tied therefor St. Peter’s College advanced to the semi final according to the average points.
Royal College beat St. Anthony’s College, Katugastota to secure their place in the final while St. Peter’s College defeated Richmond College in the semi final to book their place in the final.
Dushane Udawela will lead Royal College while Reshon Solomons will lead St. Peter’s College in the final encounter on Sunday.
