When the team landed in India, Captain of the Women’s team Ishara Madurangi and Chamathsara Fernando realized that their baggage had been misplaced. However, thankfully the Indian TT Federation extended their utmost support in recovering the baggage for the two players, who were disappointed that they could not participate in a practice session as they did not have their equipment. The organizing committee managed to arrange a special practice session for all the players at 5.30PM.
