The Sri Lanka Tuskers will have a new captain going to the Asia Sevens Series 2017 as the experienced campaigner and Havelock SC player Sudarshana Muthuthanthri will take charge as the captain for the sevens outfit.

One of the most versatile players in the national grid, this will be the 26-year-old’s second stint as national sevens skipper having led the side earlier in 2015 for the Asia Sevens Series in the absence of Fazil Marija.
