MCA Inter Academy U-13 and U-15, 30-Over League Tournaments 2017 will commence on the 10th and 11th of this month.
SSC and MCA Blue will step into the tournament as the defending champions of the two categories. The tournament will be held for the 12th successive year and will be sponsored by Mighty Sports and Speed Sports this time around.
Teams will play according to a league format in the first round and then switch to knockout from the quarter finals stage where 30 teams will be shortlisted to 8 teams and then progress likewise. The quarter finals will start on the 18th and 19th which will eventually lead up to the finals which will take place on the 23rd.

The Player Control Team (PCT) have made sure that the players with potential to be future stars and the players who possess the leadership qualities and show excellent skills will take part in a Sri Lanka Cricket Junior Coaching Camp after the commencements of the two tournaments.
For the first time in the history of the tournament a newly formed MCA Women’s Academy will field a U-15 girls’ team, where they will compete alongside the U-15 boys’ teams.
