Sri Lanka’s wicket-keeper batter Kusal Mendis is set to replace Jos Buttler in Gujarat Titans squad for Indian Premier League 2025.
Buttler will leave the tournament after the league stage as he is set to take part in the upcoming white-ball series against West Indies.

Mendis is expected to represent Titans in the playoffs of the tournament. Mendis is currently playing for Quetta Gladiators in Pakistan Super League 2025. With the PSL scheduled to end on May 25, Mendis would be available just in time for the IPL playoffs, which begin on May 29.
Mendis who is set to make his IPL debut this season, showed excellent form in PSL scoring 143 runs at an average of 35.75 and a strike rate of 168.24.
