Kingswood College beat St.Anthony’s College, Kandy 1-0 in the U19 final of Randles Futsal Carnival to clinch the championship.
Only goal of the game was scored by Kingswood midfielder Chamika Dilruwan which was assisted by Anjana Wickramasingha.
Kingswood College came to the semi-finals as the Group A champions without any losses and they met their rivals Dharmaraja College Kandy in the semi-finals. The result of the semi-final was 3-0 in favour of Kingswood. St.Anthony’s College came to semis as the group A runner-up and beat Trinity College Kandy in semi-final.
Randles Futsal Carnival was organized by Kingswood Soccer Union in aim of developing Futsal skills of boys of Central Province. 36 teams representing 17 schools participated in this Event. The chief guest of the day was Mr.G.Sheriffdeen who was a former football Captain of Kingswood College and the CEO of Masterpieces Pvt.Ltd.
