Junior Lions humble junior Kings

The junior rugby games kick started with the U-16 match as Kingswood was given a walk-over in the U-14 game due to the absence of a Trinity U-14 team. However, Trinity managed to secure a convincing win beating the Junior Kings 50 points to 5 in the U-16 fixture.

The young Lions showed dominance right from the start, drawing first blood early on and going onto score seven more tries at the end of full time. The home team displayed a perfect show of how polished their basics are, by just doing them right, scoring easily in the wings and straight through the middle. The young lads from Randles hills tried their very best to prevent Trinity from scoring but failed to do so.

The first-half ended with Trinity on top, scoring four tries and converting three, which put them in the driver’s seat. They also showed their defensive skills, keeping the Kingswoodians scoreless in the first half. (HT: TCK 26-00 KCK)

As the game neared its end, Trinity doubled their lead by scoring another four tries which took them to the half century mark. However, the junior Kings managed to score a consolation try just before full-time.
