The Inter University Cricket Tournament 2017, organized by Sri Lanka Universities Sports Association, is set to get underway for the 13th occasion on May 6th.
This tournament will be played as a 50 over tournament and total number of participants will be divided among four groups. The top 2 teams of each group will progress through to the knock-out phase in which the winner will be decided after 3 rounds of elimination.
The University of Sri Jayawardanapura clinched the last year’s competition as the University of Kelaniya finished as runner’s up in 2016.
