Kalutara Vidyalaya spinner Insaka Siriwardena bowled crucial ten overs for just ten runs and took three wickets to back up the efforts of Pulitha Sarathchandra (79) and Nipuna Deshan (67) as Kalutara registered 49 runs victory over Colombo South Zone II in the Under-15 Inter District tournament match played at Panadura yesterday.
Batting first Kalutara recovered from being 23 for four wickets at one stage to post 210 runs thanks largely to 153-runs stand between Sarathchandra and Deshan. For Colombo South Zone II Nipun Devinda took five wickets.
