In the U-16 game, straight from kick-off thanks to a DS error, Wesley got what would again be the only try of the game, very early into the match but were unsuccessful in converting.

The muddy ground came into play again as players found themselves slipping often yet again as the first half ended 5-0 to Wesley College.

The second half went on very evenly with both teams having almost equal possession though it were the Wesley juniors who got very close to the opposition try line on more than one occasion but failed to go that extra yard to get another try.

A yellow card was awarded to a Wesley player in the dying moments of the game for a very dangerous high tackle.
