Winning the national championship for nine times and out of it winning it consecutively for six long years Gayan Sandruwan is the crown-prince of the motorcycle racing fraternity. ThePapare.com sat-in  with this gentlemen to share the story how he controls power beyond reality.

He was introduced to the sport when he was just seventeen years old in the year 2001. Even though he was engaged in Cricket, Athletics and Swimming, he himself accepts the fact the Motor Sport was in his blood. Since his father was a former racer, permission from the family and the rest of the factors were not much of a bother to him.

Starting his career in 2001, he won his first championship which is the national championship in the year 2003. Since then he has won the national championship for nine years and out of the nine times he has won it consecutively for six long years. Out of the whole bag of achievements; winning the Gajaba Super Cross for five times and winning the Foxhill Super Cross for six times stands out.

Speaking about the difficulties and challenges he had to face in his long career of fifteen years he is humble enough to say that every challenge and bad thing that has happened he took as a good experience. Speaking from a veteran point of view he says that the officials of the Sri Lankan motor sporting franchise should be more educated on the rules and the game as that lack of the knowledge is indeed a huge blow to the fraternity.

Having the unfortunate experience of going through an injury couple of months back, he is on rest until his fitness is back on track for him to ride his machine. Expressing his ideas on that he said that he is planning to start his practices with in the next month.

ThePapare.com wishes this champion the best of health and luck for his future endeavors!
