The Dialog Sri Lanka Cricket Awards for the 2014/15 year will be held on the 19th of October, 2015 at the Water’s Edge Grand Ballroom it was revealed as the event was officially launched at a media conference held at Taj Samudra, on Wednesday evening.
Sri Lanka Cricket Interim Committee, Chairman – Sidath Wettimuny, Sri Lanka Cricket Interim Committee, Secretary – Prakash Shaffter, Sri Lanka Cricket Captain – Angelo Mathews, Dialog Axiata – General Manager, Brands & Media – Harsha Samaranayake, Sri Lanka Cricket Chief Executive Officer – Ashley De Silva took the head table to brief the public ahead of this prestigious event.
This will be the 7th consecutive awards ceremony by Sri Lanka Cricket to honour their cricketers and the 3rd time it has been sponsored by Sri Lanka’s leading telecom service provider, Dialog Axiata PLC.

International field of Test cricket, ODI and T20 as well as the main domestic tournaments such as Premier League Tournament, Premier Limited Overs Tournament, Emerging Cricket Tournament, Sara Trophy, Donovon & Andree Tournament, Under 23 tournament and Women’s Domestic Competition will be the main categories which the awards will be given.

At the last year’s event, Angelo Mathews was crowned Dialog Cricketer of the Year 2014 while legendary Kumar Sangakkara walked away with Dialog People’s Player of the Year 2014 with 19,462 votes.
Once again, Dialog People’s Player of the Year award will be chosen from a SMS voting and Social Media voting.
