The second weekend of the SLC Premier League Tournament – Super Eight stage was hampered due to persistent rain around the island and only Sri Lanka Ports Authority managed to register an outright win against Badureliya CC while all other three games ended without a decision.
SL Ports vs Badureliya
Left-arm spinner Malinda Pushpakumara grabbed a 7-wicket match haul as SL Ports Authority claimed an easy 8-wicket win over Badureliya CC at Bloomfield grounds.
Malinda excelled with the bat as well scoring 74 runs in their first innings while Shanuka Dissanayake stroked 94 runs for the winning team.

CCC vs NCC
Experienced campaigners, Jehan Mubarak (NCC) and Chamara Silva (CCC) stroked beautiful centuries for their respective club teams in their drawn game worked out at Army grounds in Panagoda.
CCC (1st inn) – 304 all out in 74.1 overs: Chamara Silva 128, Lasith Abeyratne 54, Sohan Boralessa 5/111.
NCC (1st inn) – 463 all out in 114.5 overs: Jehan Mubarak 161, Pawan Wickramasinghe 81, Saranga Rajaguru 68, Dulanjana Mendis 4/131, Hasantha Fernando 2/50.
CCC (2nd inn) – 218/6 in 57 overs: Chamara Silva 59, Hasantha Fernando 51*.
Moors vs Bloomfield
Ashen Silva and Madawa Warnapura hammered elegant centuries for Bloomfield as they took major honours in their drawn game against Moors SC at Colts grounds.
Left-arm seamer Vishwa Fernando shined with the ball taking 5 wickets.

SL Army vs Tamil Union
Shalika Karunanayake and Asela Gunarathne excelled with the bat for the Sri Lanka Soldiers as they won the game on first innings against Tamil Union at NCC grounds.
Skipper Asela Gunarathne scored 97 and 100 in both innings.
