On 29 March, millions of people around the world will turn off their lights for one hour of contemplation for the planet and celebration of their year-round commitment to protecting it.
‘Earth Hour’, the global movement against climate change will be commemorated in the island nation on 29 March (Saturday) from 8:30-9:30pm, with the iconic switch-off event “Power Up Earth Hour”, scheduled to take place at the Coco Veranda, Crescat Boulevard premises from 7.30 – 10.30pm on March 29.
For the past few years, Earth Hour has made a massive impact around the world thanks to the power of the crowd. But for 2014, we want to make an even greater one.
Spider-Man will be the first superhero ambassador for Earth Hour, the global movement organised by WWF. This year Earth Hour launches Earth Hour Blue, a digital crowd funding and crowdsourcing platform for the planet.
Earth Hour - The largest environment campaign in the history of our planet to stand against Climate Change, will take place today (March 23), from 8.30 - 9.30 pm.
Earth Hour is a global campaign launched by the World Wild Life Fund (WWF) to inspire governments, businesses, communities and individuals to take a stand against climate change. It is held on a Saturday in March annually, from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm local time.
