After being asked to bat first, Dambulla Sixers produced an impressive batting display to post a commanding total of 203 runs for 8 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
Pavan Rathnayake top-scored with a brisk 47 off 28 deliveries, striking three fours and two sixes, while veteran Dinesh Chandimal provided the early momentum with a blistering 44 off just 24 balls, including two fours and four sixes.
For Jaffna Kings, left-arm pacer Dilshan Madushanka was the standout bowler, claiming 3 wickets for 32 runs to keep the Sixers from posting an even bigger total.
However, Jaffna Kings never had the opportunity to begin their chase as persistent rain delayed proceedings before eventually forcing the match to be abandoned without a ball being bowled in the second innings.
