Sri Lankan high-jumper Ushan Thiwanka continued his good form in Collegiate athletics, taking home Gold in the Men’s High Jump at the Lone Star Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships earlier today (7).
Thiwanka, representing Texas A&M, cleared a mark of 2.20m to take the top spot, while Justin Lewis (2.11m) and Dakari Hill (2.08m) took 2nd and 3rd places respectively.
Another Sri Lankan high-jumper Seniru Amarasinghe also participated in the event, finishing with a best jump of 2.00m.
