Dharmaraja College, Kandy registered an innings win over Kingswood College, Kandy in their 117th Battle of Maroons encounter played at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.
After been put into bat first, Dharmaraja College posted a solid first innings total – 325/2 before declaring their innings. Isuru Pannala and Onajith De Silva stroked fine centuries while Pulindu Perera notched up vital 92 runs for the Rajans.

In reply, Kingswood College were knocked over for just 178 runs as Sesath Thilakarathna and Sheshan Marasingha ripped through their batting lineup sharing 7 wickets between them.
After been asked to follow-on, Kingswood College faltered with the bat once more to be bowled out for 78 runs. Dakshika Manukalpa produced a brilliant spell, scalping 8 wickets for 30 runs for the victorious Dharmaraja College.
