Bangladesh concluded their impressive 2018 AFC U19 Championship Qualifiers Group B matches with a 4-0 win against Sri Lanka at Hisor Central Stadium, Hisor in Tajikistan.

Though Bangladesh won’t be able to qualify for the final tournament they finished with two wins, one draw and one loss. They drew with Tajikistan 0-0 while winning 1-0 against Maldives. An injury time own goal by Bangladesh allowed Uzbekistan to win 1-0.

Sri Lanka on the other hand drew 2-2 against Maldives but suffered heavy 10-0 and 6-0 losses against Uzbekistan and Tajikistan respectively.

Bishwanath Ghosh gave Bangladesh the lead in the 13th minute and in the 33rd minute Riyadul Hasan made it 2-0. Mahbubur Rahman scored the 3rd five minutes later.

Bangladesh made it 4-0 with a first half injury time goal from Rahman.
