Sri Lanka Women U19 continued their impressive run in the T20 Tri-Series in Australia, registering their third consecutive victory with a commanding 35-run win over England Women U19 today at Ian Healy Oval.
Having been put in to bat first, Sri Lanka posted a modest total of 104 for 8 in their 20 overs. The innings was anchored by opening batter Vimoksha Balasuriya, who top-scored with a composed 34 runs, providing stability at the top.

For England, Eliza Bristowe was the standout performer with the ball, delivering an excellent spell to pick up 3 wickets for just 15 runs and keep Sri Lanka’s scoring in check.
In response, England Women U19 struggled to build any momentum against a disciplined Sri Lankan bowling attack and were eventually bundled out for just 69 runs.
Leading the charge once again was Limansa Thilakarathne, who continued her fine form with the ball, claiming 3 wickets for 12 runs. She was well supported by Pramudi Methsara and Aseni Thalagune, who chipped in with two wickets apiece to seal a comprehensive victory.
