The Football Federation of Sri Lanka (FFSL) have planned to conduct selection trials to pick players for the U23 Men’s National Football Team.

Selections will be held from 7th January 2019 onwards at the Beddagana National Football Training Center. Selection is to be conducted aiming at the 2020 AFC U23 Championship Qualifiers and the South Asian Games (SAG) to be held in March and September this year.
The FFSL have already informed its affiliated Football Leagues to send talented and skillful players on or after 01st January 1997 for the trials. The FFSL requests young players who are willing to join the National Squad to participate for the trails with recommendations from their respective leagues.
