Prince of Wales College managed to take honors against Kingswood College in the drawn traditional encounter worked off today at Prince of Wales College Grounds in Moratuwa.

Having restricted the visitors to just 99 runs, the home team Prince of Wales College posted a commanding total of 261/7 for their first innings. Chenula Mandiv starred with the ball taking 5-fer, while Sumalka Fernando top-scored for the Cambrians with a stylish 73-run knock.

Kingswood College showed better application with the bat in the second innings, posting 114/5 thanks to Kavija Gamage’s crucial half-century, as they managed to draw the match avoiding an innings defeat.
