Three traditional encounters of the under 19 inter schools cricket tournament 2021 was worked off yesterday (13th March) at different venues across the island.
The traditional encounter between Wesley College and S. Thomas’ College ended in a draw with Wesley College taking the major honors as Sahil Dias (142) and Thenuka Perera (4/44) starred with bat and ball for them.
St. Anthony’s College dominated their clash against Maris Stella College registering an innings win in their back yard. Gihan Ebert of Anthony’s College was very impressive with the ball as he managed to take a match bag of 7 wickets for just 25 runs.

St. Peter’s College took major honors in the drawn encounter against St. Sebastian’s College. Wanuja Kumara of St. Peter’s College had a great outing with the ball as he picked up 8 wickets for 80 runs in the match.
