The semi-finalists for the U19 Inter-Schools Division 1 Tier ‘B’ Two-Day Cricket Tournament 2025/26 have now been confirmed following the completion of the quarter-final stage.
In the first semi-final, Sri Sumangala College, Panadura will take on Maliyadeva College, Kurunegala in what promises to be an exciting contest. The second semi-final will see Wesley College, Colombo go head-to-head with St. Benedict’s College, Colombo for a place in the final.
Sri Sumangala College, Panadura secured their spot in the last four with an impressive victory over Sri Dharmaloka College, Kelaniya in their quarter-final clash. Maliyadeva College, Kurunegala booked their semi-final berth after claiming first innings honours in their drawn quarter-final encounter against St. Anne’s College, Kurunegala.
Meanwhile, Wesley College, Colombo progressed to the semi-finals with a convincing win over Devapathiraja College, Rathgama. St. Benedict’s College, Colombo also confirmed their place in the final four after defeating St. Joseph Vaz College, Wennappuwa in their quarter-final fixture.
