Three games in the U19 Division I schools cricket tournament came to a close across the island, Mahinda College, Galle recorded the only outright win of the day.
Mahinda College, Galle off spinner Kaveen Rukshan picked up 5 wickets in the 2nd innings of St. Sebastian’s College, Katuneriya to seal the victory for the Mahindians. A game where the ball dominated both the days, Mahinda College’s Arosha Udayanga was the only batter who surpassed the 40 run mark.

Richmond College, Galle displayed a dominant batting performance against Trinity College, Kandy at Katunayake, where Richmond College bagged the 1st innings points comfortably. Thamindu Pradeeptha led the batting for Richmond with a quality 82 runs.
Dharmashoka College, Ambalangoda, fell short of an outright win against St. Aloysius College, Galle, due to fading light. Despite suffering a disappointing defeat in their previous game, the Shoikians displayed notable improvement in this encounter.
