Air Force won the A Division & North Star won the B Division while Maliyadeva Balika won U19 & U17 with Hillwood College winning the U15 championships at the Eva All Island & Open Schools’ Netball Tournament 2026.
In the Veterans Division Track Masters took the title and Kegalle Lions won the A Division Men’s trophy.
A Division (Women’s)
In the A Division only three teams participated – Army, Air Force & School of Netball. Air Force defeated School of Netball 31-16 and Army beat School of Netball, setting up the championship deciding game between Air Force and Army.
Both teams matched each other goal for goal and at one time Air Force led 7-6 in the 1st half. A 6-0 run saw them build the lead to 13-6. Army fought back and were only down by 1-goal at 15-14 with 3 minutes left in the half.
However, Air Force went into the break 21-18 after back to back goals. Air Force added a further 4 goals before Army scored their first in the 2nd half (26-18). Army were unable to close the gap as Air Force won the final 40-35 and with it their 4th consecutive title.
A Division (Men’s)
Kegalle Lions defeated United SC 20-18 in a closely fought final to win the championship and avenged their loss from last year. The semi-finals saw United beating Rathnapura Gem 18-7 and Lions getting a walkover against HS Youth.
U19 (Schools)
In the U19 final Maliyadeva Balika Vidyalaya, Kurunegala comfortably defeated Visakha Vidyalaya 27-14. In the semi-finals Maliyadeva Balika and Visakha beat Ladies’ College (13-7) and Karandeniya CC (13-8) respectively.

U17 (Schools)
In the U17 final Maliyadeva Balika dominated Hillwood College, Kandy 16-3 to secure the title. In the semis Maliyadeva Balika defeated Holy Family Convent, Kalutara 11-9 while Hillwood beat Anula Vidyalaya 10-8.
U15 (Schools)
The U15 final saw Hillwood Kandy defeating Musaeus College 10-9 in a tense encounter. Hillwood won 11-3 against Padmawathie Central College, Dekatana in the semis and Musaeus overcame Devi Balika 11-5 in the other semi-final.
B Division (Women’s)
North Star defeated Kothalawala Defense University 12-6 in the final to win the B Division title. In their road to the final the girls from Jaffna beat University of Sri Jayewardenepura 11-4 in the semi final while KDU defeated Campbell SC 11-7 in the other semi finals.

Veterans
Track Masters secured the Veterans championship beating Sri Lanka Ports Authority 10-9 in the final. In the semi-finals Track Masters won 12-6 against Speed Birds and SLPA won 6-1 against Flying Birds.
