At the heart of Dialog Big Match Season is school cricket, a cornerstone in nurturing future cricketing stars, as it is on school grounds that dreams take flight and lay the foundation for national and international success.
This March, the nation will be swept by the excitement of alumni and current students coming together to celebrate the country’s passion for cricket. This season, Dialog Axiata PLC will proudly power six prestigious big matches, featuring 12 schools-each encounters a tribute to talent, determination, and the rich heritage of school cricket.

The commitment to grassroot cricket development is greatly complemented by the company’s role on the global stage. As the official ICC broadcaster in Sri Lanka, Dialog will deliver all major ICC tournaments, including the ICC T20 World Cup 2026, starting Saturday, live across multiple platforms, connecting over 21 million Sri Lankans to the world’s biggest cricketing moments.
Dialog Axiata PLC will power the 147th Battle of the Blues, the second-longest-running big match globally, for the 21st consecutive year, from March 12–14 at SSC Colombo, followed by the limited-over match on March 28.
The company will also back the 92nd Battle of the Saints, showcasing the enduring rivalry between St. Joseph’s College, Colombo and St. Peter’s College, Colombo, to be held from March 19–21 at SSC grounds, with the 52nd limited-over encounter scheduled for April 25.
Extending its support to the northern region, Dialog Axiata PLC will Power the 109th Northern Battle of the Golds between St. Patrick’s College and Jaffna College, from March 12–14 at the Vaddakodde Jaffna College ground, followed by the limited-over match on March 21.
In the hill country, Dharmaraja College will face hometown rivals Kingswood College in the 119th Battle of the Maroons, from March 21–23 at the Asgiriya Cricket Stadium, with the limited-over match scheduled for March 28.
Dialog Axiata PLC will also Power the 74th Battle of the Golds in the Western Province between Sri Sumangala College, Panadura and Moratu Maha Vidyalaya, from March 27–29 at Tyronne Fernando Stadium, Moratuwa, with the limited-over game on April 5.
Additionally, the company will Power the 42nd Battle of the Rocks between St. Anne’s College and Maliyadeva College, played at Welagedara Stadium from March 20–22, with the limited-over match scheduled for March 29.
