The longest running cricket sponsorship by the MCA to kick-start the 19th consecutive tournament in 2013

The tournament will take place on a knock out and a league basis. The league matches will be conducted in a single group or a round-robin format comprising 21 matches, with all the paraphernalia used for one Day Internationals (ODI); for example, players attired in colored clothing, white ball, colored stumps, black side screens, latest ICC  playing conditions and Duckworth and Lewis method being in operation.

During the round-robin stage, all reams will play each other once and at the completion of the league, the team emerging on top of the points table will be declared as the league winner. The matches will be conducted from 19th October through 10th November 2013 in 06 grounds parallel: NCC, SSC, Thurstan College Grounds, De Soysa Park, Moratuwa& FTZ Katunayaka.

The knockout stage will be conducted with same 07 teams as of the league. Comprising of 6 matches, the qualifying finals will worked off on the 16th November, the semifinals on the 23rd November and the finals will be on the 30th of November which will be followed by an awards ceremony.

The event will be graced with special awards to the Best Batsman, Best Bowler, Man of the series & Emerging Player for the league stage and Man of the match for the knockout finals. Also Singer Sri Lanka is given the opportunity to battle for a Color TV, awarded to the winner of Man of the series.
