The Juniors from Moratuwa won the toss and elected to bat first. They batted for more than half of the day and declared their innings after 71 overs, putting up 112 runs for loss of 9 wickets. Achala Perera was the top scorer for Prince of Wales, scoring 28 runs while Charuka Ekanayake demolished the batting line up by grabbing 6 wickets for 32 runs and Heshan Bandara chipped in with 2 wickets for 18 runs.

Chasing down the target, the juniors from the hill capital managed to score 60 runs loss of 2 wickets in 34 overs before umpires called stumps. Induwara Galapitige scored 35 runs and Ramiru Perera took 2 wickets for 17 runs.
Pahan Binara takes Prince of Wales to quarters!
Junior from Moratuwa, Pahana Binara demolished the batting line up of the Walikada juniors by picking up 6 wickets……
The match ended up as a draw but St. Anthony’s qualified for the finals after winning the bonus point.
