Thursday marked the curtain raiser of the country’s signature international golfing event , the SriLankan Airlines Golf Classic, which is being played in the Victoria Golf Course in Digana. The event concludes on Sunday.
Zhang Jizou from China headed the points table at the close of Day 1 with 44 points Stableford in the Gents category while Ms.Qin Ami from Pakistan in the Ladies category finished on 37 points stableford.
