Sri Lanka wins Gold on the final day at the Games

Madushan Jayasekera who won gold medal on the first day in the Men`s 400 meter event was unable to keep up with the same feat but still won the silver medal in the Men’s 200 meter event with a timing of 21.53 seconds.

Supen Viraj Randeniya brought glory to the mother land by winning the Gold medal in the 110 meter hurdle event with a timing of 14.22 seconds.

There was more good news to follow as W P Amila Jayasiri  was able to win the Long Jump Gold medal for Sri Lanka with a jump of 7.30 meters.

All in all Sri Lanka was able to capture three golds and two silver medals at the Malaysian open athletics championship.
