Sri Lanka U17 produced a commanding all-round performance to defeat Bangladesh U17 in the second One Day encounter of the three-match series in Chattogram, leveling the contest 1–1 and setting up an exciting decider. 

Bangladesh, after winning the toss and choosing to bat first, were restricted to just 194 runs, as the young Sri Lankan bowlers delivered a disciplined and united effort.  

Himaru Deshan and Minuga Nethsara led the attack impressively, each claiming three wickets, while Manitha Rajapaksa chipped in with two crucial breakthroughs to keep the hosts in check throughout the innings. 

Chasing a modest target, Sri Lanka U17 got off to a strong start with opening batter Arosha Sithumina crafting a composed half-century, laying the platform for the visitors.  

From there, Hirun Matheesha took control of the chase, showing excellent temperament and game awareness. His unbeaten 80 off 136 balls, including six fours, guided Sri Lanka to a comfortable victory.
