Bringing a much-awaited end to the long drought in the country with scarce sporting action, the Sri Lanka Tennis Association is ready to get the show on the road, later this month.
Plans are being made to kick off the 3rd annual Clay Court Nationals organized by the SLTA with an experienced charge taking the reins – Coach Ganendran Subramaniam, brother to the current President of the NOC Suresh Subramaniam.
A gala press conference was held days before the Covid Lockdown at the Movenpick Hotel with sponsors like Hutch and HNB joining hands to empower the tournament. Even after a recessive economy, both sponsors have kept their loyalty with the SLTA to continue their term as main sponsors.
