National selection committee has selected an 18-member Sri Lanka squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against Australia.
The wicket-keeper batter Lahiru Udara and left-arm spinning all-rounder Sonal Dinusha have made the cut, strengthening Sri Lanka’s batting department.

The left-arm spinner Lasith Embuldeniya who was included in Sri Lanka’s squad in their last Test assignment against South Africa has faced the axe. The wrist-spinner Jeffrey Vandersay has replaced Embuldeniya in the squad.
The first Test match of the series will be played from 29th January to 2nd February while the second Test match will be played from 6th to 10th February. Both matches will be played at Galle International Cricket Stadium.
