Sri Lanka Cricket announced today that Ms. Shashikala Siriwardene has stepped down from the Captaincy of the National Team.
Shashikala tendered her resignation from the Captaincy of Sri Lanka Women’s Team to the CEO of Sri Lanka Cricket Mr. Ashley De Silva.
She will continue to play for the team as a player.
