The quarter finals and the semifinal stage of the third level of the 51st Senior Nationals Tournament came to a close as Anuradhapura DBA and Killinochci DBA qualified for the final. Here`s what went down.

With the senior nationals basketball championship commencing on the 3rd of February to 18th February we give you a chance to select your favorite team.
In the first semi-final, Anuradhapura DBA met Kegalle DBA. Anuradhapura DBA led the game since the first half as the halftime scores read thirty six points to twenty three points. Nothern Central lads continued dominance as they qualified themselves to the finals beating Kegalle DBA seventy-ones points to fifty one.

The second semi-final match was worked out between Killinochchi DBA v Mullaitivu DBA. It was tight contest from the jump ball. Mullaitivu DBA led the game at half time twenty-eight points to seventeen points. Killinochchi DBA coming from behind won a nail biter by a point to place them in the finals. The full time scores read forty-seven points – forty six points.
Anuradhapura DBA will take on Killinochchi DBA in the finals while Mullaitvu DBA will take on Kegalle DBA in the consolation finals of the tournament.
