The last time Sri Lanka hosted this prestigious tournament was in 2000, when a remarkable Junior Tuskers side, led by Jivan Goonathilake, delivered a historic performance to qualify for the World Rugby U-20 Championship in Chile-a defining achievement in Sri Lanka Rugby’s age-grade history.
