Six matches in the fourth week of the SLC Tier ‘B’ 3-Day League 2025/26 concluded today (29 December), producing four outright results while two encounters ended in draws. Leo Cricket Club, Sinhalese Sports Club, Moratuwa Sports Club and Sebastianites Cricket & Athletic Club emerged victorious, with several standout individual performances across the week.
Sinhalese Sports Club continued their impressive run in the tournament by registering their fourth consecutive win, defeating Negombo Cricket Club by 10 wickets at the SSC Grounds, Colombo. Left-arm spinner Prabath Jayasuriya was the standout performer of the match, claiming a match haul of 13 wickets for 139 runs to set up a comprehensive victory for the hosts.

At Katunayake, Leo Cricket Club recorded a convincing win over Sri Lanka Army Sports Club, driven by strong all-round contributions. Mangala Pradeep led the bowling attack with a match bag of eight wickets, while Akeel Inham anchored the batting with a top score of 86. Senash Fernando also impressed with an excellent all-round performance, scoring 51 runs and picking up six wickets in the match.
Moratuwa Sports Club registered an emphatic innings win over Colombo Malay Cricket Club following dominant displays with both bat and ball. Gavin Botheju narrowly missed out on a century with 99, while Dinitha Lochana Siriwardane added a valuable 87. The bowlers then took charge, with Chanaka Ruwansiri claiming match bag of 8 for 71 and Gayan Sirisoma returning a match bag of 7 for 60.

Sebastianites Cricket & Athletic Club secured a hard-fought 27-run win over Ragama Cricket Club in a closely contested encounter. The victory was built on strong bowling performances from Medunaka Wijayathilaka, who finished with a match bag of 7 for 100, and Tharusha Fernando, who claimed 6 for 30.
The remaining two fixtures ended in draws, but there were notable individual efforts. Adeesha Nanayakkara produced a magnificent double century for United Southern Sports Club, while Rajeewa Weerasinghe stood out for Galle Cricket Club with a 10-wicket match haul.
