Sinhalese Sports Club registered a commanding innings victory over Ragama Cricket Club in their SLC Tier ‘B’ 3-Day League 2025/26 encounter, which concluded today (21st December) at the SSC Grounds in Colombo.
SSC’s dominance was built around a classy century from No. 3 batter Nipun Dhananjaya, who set the tone at the top of the order, while left-arm spinner Prabath Jayasuriya played a decisive role with the ball, claiming a match haul of 11 wickets to spearhead the innings win.

In another one-sided encounter, Negombo Cricket Club also secured an innings victory, defeating Galle Cricket Club on the back of a magnificent unbeaten century from Umesh Lakshan. He produced a majestic knock of 175 not out, coming off 250 deliveries and featuring 21 fours and two sixes, anchoring Negombo CC’s comprehensive performance.
Elsewhere, United Southern Cricket Club recorded a convincing 94-run win over Leo Cricket Club, while Moratuwa Sports Club continued their strong run with a six-wicket victory against Sri Lanka Navy Sports Club.
The remaining two matches of the week ended in draws, rounding off a competitive week of action in the SLC Tier ‘B’ 3-Day League 2025/26, which featured several standout individual performances across venues.
