Nondescripts Cricket Club and Colombo Cricket Club have managed to qualify for the Semi Finals of the SLC Major Clubs T20 Tournament 2025.
In the first quarter final, NCC registered an 8-wicket win (DLS Method) over Tamil Union C & AC at CCC Grounds, Colombo.

Batting first, Tamil Union C & AC posted 167 runs for 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs with Bhanuka Rajapaksa notching up a blistering fifty – 62 runs off 30 balls with 5 fours and 5 sixes at a strike rate of 206.66.
Due to the rain interruption, NCC were set a target of 55 runs to win in 5 overs. They managed to cross over the line in 4 overs with 8 wickets in hand. The opening batter Jeewaka Sashin made quick-fire 24 runs off 12 balls to set the tone for NCC’s successful run-chase.
In the second quarter final, CCC edged past BRC in another rain-hit game at P. Sara Oval Grounds, Colombo.
After been put into bat first, CCC posted 179 runs for 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs with the opening batter Nishan Madushka top scoring with 79 runs off 50 balls with 3 fours and 5 sixes at a strike rate of 158.
Due to the rain, the second innings was reduced to just 5 overs in which BRC had to chase down 57 runs to win the contest. However, they only managed to put on 39 runs as the experienced seam duo Isuru Udana and Nuwan Thushara bowled superbly sharing 5 wickets between them for CCC.
