Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), since 2017 has been extending their support to the Mercantile Cricket Association (MCA) by donating the full requirement of white Cricket Balls for their 03 major turf 50 over tournaments.
Sri Lanka Cricket will continue to do so this year too, by donating the full requirement of 622 white balls, as requested by the MCA Tournament Committee for the fourth coming MCA Super Premier League, the Premier League & the “C” division tournament.

The ball is the “Grays Cavalier” white ball which will be used for all 03 above tournaments as follows:
A. MCA Super Premier (consisting the League / Knock out & the T20)

Balls required : 240 Nos white balls
B. MCA Premier League
No. of Teams : 10
Period : July to September 2025
Total number of matches : 50
Balls required : 190 Nos. white balls
C. MCA “C” division League Tournament
Number of Teams : 12
Period : June – August 2025
Total Number of Matches : 35
Balls required : 192 Nos white balls
At a ceremony held on Thursday 17th July 2025, 06.30 pm at the MCA Legends Wing, the donation of 622 white balls was handed over by Bandula Dissanayake, Secretary, Sri Lanka Cricket to the President of MCA, Mahesh de Alwis.
Also present at the ceremony were Chinthaka Edirimanne, Head of National Cricket Operations, Sri Lanka Cricket; Rohan Somawansa, MCA General Secretary & Hasitha Dasanayake, MCA Assistant Treasurer & Chairman, Sponsorship Committee.
