Shammi Silva, the President of Sri Lanka Cricket, along with the SLC Executive Committee, have decided to resign following a special committee meeting held today, ThePapare reliably learns.
The decision brings an end to Silva’s seven-year tenure at the helm of Sri Lanka Cricket.

Silva was first elected as President of Sri Lanka Cricket in February 2019 and went on to retain the position through multiple subsequent elections, maintaining his leadership over the governing body across several terms.
