The first day of the 142nd Battle of the Blues was called off due to inclement weather.
No play was possible on day one, with the match officials unable to even conduct the toss as Colombo experienced heavy rainfall throughout the day.
Play on day 2 is set to begin at 9.40 am tomorrow, 29th October while the toss is scheduled to take place at 9.10 am with play being extended for an extra hour.
