CCC vs Bloomfield

Nisal Fransisco and Nipun Karunanayake hit big half centuries as Bloomfield made a fighting reply to CCC’s score of 445 all out in their first innings. Sachith Pathirana’s career best 168 was the highlight of the CCC innings while Malith De Silva captured five wickets for Bloomfield.

Ragama CC vs Moors SC

Janith Liyanage fell for 97 as Ragama CC were all out for 380 early on day two. Amila Aponso, appearing for Ragama CC after a lengthy break,  picked up a six wicket haul to help restrict Moors to 241 all out while Nishan Pieris captured two wickets.
Chamara Silva hit  121 as wickets fell around him for Moors SC but couldn’t prevent his team from going on the first innings.

NCC vs SLPACC

The pendulum kept swinging both ways in a dramatic game of cricket between NCC and Ports Authority, before Ports Authority just about kept their noses ahead when stumps were drawn on day two.
NCC, after securing a 99 run first innings lead, were shot out for 120 as they succumbed to a brilliant spell of left arm orthodox bowling by Chanaka Komasaru who captured seven wickets. Ports in pursuit of 220 for victory, ended the day on 129/2.

Sachithra Serasinghe and Oshada Fernando hit half centuries for Chilaw Marians while Jeevan Mendis also chipped in with three wickets for Tamil Union.

Kaveeshka Anjula and Prabath Jayasuriya shared seven wickets between them as Colts took control of their match against Saracens.

Badureliya SC gained a vital first innings lead on the back of a Ramindu De Silva half century. They made 248 all out in reply to Army’s 152 all out with Malka Madusanka picking up a five wicket haul.
Army batting a second time around ended the day on 112/4 with an overall lead of 16 runs. Alankara Asanka capture three wickets for Badureliya SC.
