Team Galle crowned champions of the National Super League 4-Day Tournament 2025 as they claimed first innings points against Team Dambulla in the drawn final encounter played at SSC Grounds, Colombo.
After been put into bat first, Team Galle posted 370 runs on the board thanks to a brilliant century from Oshada Fernando and a well-compiled half-century from Dinesh Chandimal.
The speedster Mohamed Shiraz was the pick of the bowlers for Team Dambulla as he grabbed 4 wickets for 92 runs.

In reply, Team Dambulla posed 313 runs courtesy of a sensational century by Vishad Randika and a half-century from Ron Chandraguptha.
The speedster Nimsara Atharagalla stood out with the ball, claiming a five-wicket haul for Team Galle.
Team Galle began their second innings 57 runs ahead and posted 246 runs for 5 wickets before the rain brought curtains to the game on final day.

Dinesh Chandimal who struck half-centuries in both innings won the player of the final award while Akila Dananjaya who became the top wicket-taker of the tournament, claiming 37 wickets in 5 matches won the player of the tournament.
